  1. There are many types of depression such as Major, clinical, atypical, postpartum, bipolar/manic, seasonal, and psychotic
  2. symptoms of depression vary depending on the individual but some of the most common ones are: hopelessness, weightloss/gain, suicidal thoughts, fatigue, difficult concentration, emptiness, aches and pains that can't be treated, over sleeping, and no longer taking interest in things that were once enjoyed
  3. If they suddenly switch from being sad to appearing to be normal and happy: they're probably in danger of committing suicide

  14. Atypical has specific symptoms unlike major which has a variety and is common
  15. postpartum is less common and usually occurs during or after a pregnancy
